It actually makes it worth it to check out some of the shops instead of ignoring them entirely. Description: Press [input] to use this substance on a dead body to infect it and allow it to contaminate nearby enemies. All weapons have a certain number of attacks to your combos, and this skill will add a whole extra attack to the chain. Once you get the timing down though, it is a good way to essentially leave a single enemy helpless and allow for some huge damage on the counterattack. Stealth assassinations are already a one hit kill on non-boss enemies and come as part of your repertoire automatically, making this skill utterly redundant and pointless. A full charged Heavy Attack will break tower shields and knock enemies to the ground. Description: You can equip a 2nd melee weapon. This Ability can be acquired multiple times.Cost: 1 APComments: You simply are not going to use your tools enough for this to be useful. Weapons now have different rarity levels, add bonus effects, and can be swapped out as needed between two main or off-hand types, as well as ranged. However there are some scenarios where assassinating one might alert a second guard, and this can be essentially used as a get out of jail free card for those situations as you get an extra free kill out of this skill. Picking up loot requires a simple button press after the assassination, and unless you are profoundly lazy this is a complete waste of ability points for something you can easily do yourself. It also boosts your fire bombs and makes them more effective in battle. 1. Afterwards you'll pull the shield out and put it in your inventory. It is more of a novelty than anything else. Description: Throw this bomb to set your enemies ablaze. Senu the hawk serves as Assassin’s Creed Origins ’ (in this case, literally) eagle vision. So, even if you are desperate for XP, there are much better (and quicker) ways to get the bonus XP. If you are even doing half of the stuff in the game, you will always be appropriately leveled. Beyond that, there really isn't a good reason to be using sleep darts instead of things that are actually fatal. Again, avoid this skill entirely unless you are using warrior bows. So essentially all this skill does is provide that information to you a bit earlier and it will allow you to plan out your movements a bit further in advance. Smoke screens can break line of sight.Cost: 1 APComments: Of all the tools in the game, this is probably the most effective. Description: Holding [input] to charge your shot will additionally break shield defense.Cost: 2 APComments: Like previously discussed, whether or not you want to get this skill will depend if you use a hunter bow or not. Like assassinations, it is a great way to kill someone unnoticed and a headshot can frequently one shot almost all lower level enemies. Description: While in hover mode with Senu, press [input] to mark a civilian, enemy, or animal to see the path they are currently taking.Cost: 2 APComments: This is a skill that sounds more useful than it is. Still, this is a good skill for large camps and it can help you clear out one end while you work on the others. After stealth killing someone, you can direct the camera around to select a second person you will throw a blade at and also instantly kill. Normally when you mark an enemy with Senu, it will highlight them even when you back out and return to Bayek's point of view. This is a fine skill if you're desperate for an upgrade and never do the animal lairs, but otherwise it is sort of a waste of AP. Regular Swords– Defau… Description: [Passive] Killing enemies with a tool grants XP. The issue is that it can be very hard to pull one off effectively when you are dealing with a group of enemies at once. For more info on all known weapons, see the lists below: We encourage you to read our updated PRIVACY POLICY and COOKIE POLICY. Even against enemies without tower shields, this can still be very helpful as it will knock them to the ground and leave them prone to an entire combo afterwards. Use the skill on a corpse, and then drop the corpse off somewhere in the middle of camp. Learning a skill will open up any skill connected to it, and you cannot learn a skill unless it has been previously opened by different skill you've unlocked. You can switch to Senu with a single button push and then use him to locate all the enemies in the area. And if you're trying to do this while the enemy is unaware and stationary, then there are much better (and easier ways) to pull this kills off. It is certainly worth considering if you do not want to get XP through other means as it will add up over the course of the game. Still, this is stackable, so you can get a decent boost depending on how many AP you put into it. Description: [Passive] Increase the damage of all your bows by an additional +1%. Description: Holding [input] to charge your shot will reduce its dispersion zone. The XP bonus here can be very good, but again, this is utterly pointless if you are playing most of the side quests and doing most of the locations. However, there are also a lot of other random skill that aren't necessarily related to anything. Consider prioritizing this as soon as you can. Description: [Passive] Killing an enemy with a headshot grants you bonus XP.Cost: 1 APComments: This is another skill that will get you bonus XP, and it is about as useful as the Assassination XP bonus. Privacy PolicyCookie SettingsDo Not Sell My InformationReport Ad. Both are great, and plan on using them extensively during your playthrough. Thus, this proves to be very useful against the toughest enemies, making those encounters easier. The downside here is it can be kind of slow, and it is much quicker just to sneak around and use stealth kills to clear out a camp rather than waiting for everyone to walk over and get poisoned. Like any skill tree, some skills are great and others are, well, borderline useless. Description: [Passive] Automatically loot an enemy after a melee kill.Cost: 3 APComments: Don't even consider getting this skill. It can take a while to charge so it probably isn't a great idea to use this all the time, but it is a great situation attack and the best way to deal with enemies with tower shields. Description: Throw darts to put lower rank enemies or animals to sleep and sneak by without being detected. You will have a lot more opportunities to stealth kill or headshot an enemy than you will to kill them with an overpower attack (unless you are very reckless). However, if you plan to speed through the game and aren't interested in the side content, this is actually a fairly good skill. Description: After putting an animal to sleep with a sleep dart, tame it by pressing [input] to have it follow you. A 1% boost is almost nothing, and considering how infrequently you are to use these in comparison to your other stuff, it is best to power up your melee attacks if you really want a boost somewhere. It is certainly pricey, but worth it as it will take out an extra enemy each time you use your Overpower attack. Unlocking the weapon bearer skill in Bayek’s Warrior skill tree means you can carry two melee weapons and swap between them quickly. I never found a good use for this, primarily because you can do stealth assassinations from the air already without any skill. Anyone who comes over to check it out will be poisoned, and it is a very lazy way to hep deal with some of the numbers of some of the larger restricted areas. Cost: 2 APComments: This is a great skill for the warrior bow, and it allows you to fire from slightly further away and still hit your target with all of your arrows. You will use this skill all the time, so you absolutely want to add this to your skill set quickly. A lot of the time this is more trouble than its worth, because one the berserk enemy starts attacking the entire camp will be alerted to his presence. It is also slightly less useful than the Assassination XP skill as you'll probably be assassinating people more than you will be doing headshots. Typically the weakness of the warrior bow is that, while it is the biggest damage dealer of the bow classes, some of your shots will likely miss unless you are right next to your target. The Hunter skills tend to be the sneaky stealth skills, either in the form your ranged skills or through bonuses to your assassinations. Enemies on fire won't attack as they are more concerned about the whole "being burned alive" thing, and this can be good for holding off a large group for a bit. But again, they are largely pointless because an arrow will do essentially the same thing without costing you 2 AP. This skill makes them even better, as it will allow you to adjust the path of flight for the arrow after you fire it. There is more than enough XP in this game, so these tend to be completely unnecessary if you're doing a good portion of the extra stuff. When Assassin’s Creed finally returned in 2017, it was with a major make-over that turned the game from a classic “Ubisoft” open-world adventure into a full on RPG, complete with side quests, a lengthy story, and plenty of loot.
